  I have stayed at Yalara many times over a forty yesr period. It is a fantastic dkiing ecperience. When you have an opportunity to stay "on snow" take it. Thrre is nothing better than puting your skiisvon at the Lodge and skiing to the msin slopes effortlessly. I have only ever stayed on snow, yes I gave been spoilt. The lodge is older but it is well appointed, it is a place to meet new friends as it is a vommunial type setting. The rooms are only suitable for sleeping in. I havn't been down gor dome years but the photos on the web look exactly like it was last time I was there. It is well worth the accommodation asking price
